The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this excellent, numbers matching, 1963 Corvette Roadster. This is a very original car, she has obviously been repainted, but never fully restored. She shows 37,907 miles, but I dont believe that it is correct. The car has been the recent recipient of a full service, including a New Clutch, New Brakes, a correct dual chambered exhaust system, and a detail of the Engine compartment. All of this work done by the renowned NCRS judge Bill Caldwell. The correct Riverside red paint (923A) is in excellent condition, with deep shine and great depth. There are no stress cracks in the paint, and very few blemishes. The chrome is excellent, as is all of the badging and rubber around the car. The black interior is likewise in good condition; the black vinyl seats shows little wear and offer good support. The carpets and dash are good, with no cracks or tears. She has power windows, and all mechanical systems work as it should. She has her original am/fm radio. Even the clock works!!! The car has a teak steering wheel, and come with the original wheel well. The original numbers matching 327CI/300HP engine is well tuned, makes a great sound and pulls with authority. The engine has all of the proper shielding and original manifolds. She does not have her original carburetor, starter or alternator, but they are correct. The original 4-speed transmission shifts well, and the car is a pleasure to drive!! The white convertible top is in serviceable condition, and the top mechanism works, as it should. The hide away headlights work well, as do the rest of the light and instrumentation. The tires are new, and the wheels and hubcaps are in wonderful condition. The suspension is tight, and all of the bushings are in fresh condition. The power brake system is new, correct, and the car stops with authority. This car is an excellent driver and needs nothing but an enthusiastic new owner.
